SHAWNA FITZGERALD

I cheered for wrestling my Sr year of high school. I enjoyed performing in color guard for 4 years & in winter-guard for 2. I was an assistant coach to cathedral preps color guard & Corry winter guard after graduation.
I joined the Extreme program in 2013 filling the fundraising role and soon after the treasure seat on the parent board. I accepted the Director position 4 seasons ago. I am very good at coordinating, detailed oriented and good at juggling many tasks at one time. I am in the gym for every practice to help my staff with anything they need and directly work with Youth hip hop, Jr hip hop, & Jr cheer.
MEGHAN ROWLAND
Coach
I was a Warren cheerleader for football, basketball and competition cheer from 8th grade through my senior year. During that time I received the All American Cheerleader award at NCA camp in 2002. I served as a Captain three of the five years. My senior year I was selected to cheer at the Big 30 football game. After high school I attended IUP to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising. During that time I was a judge for Youngsville Middle School and Warren High School cheerleading team try-outs on multiple occasions. I also aided my current Assistant Coach, Molly Ackley, with her Youngsville Middle School team. Upon graduating, I coached the Warren High School JV cheerleading teams from 2008-2010. In 2012, my friend Jessica Robbins and I decided we wanted to start an All Star Program, so we hit the ground running and Extreme was later established in October. Since it's inauguration, I have held numerous positions with the program whether it be head coach, board member or a fanatic parent to my own child whom is also apart of the Extreme family. I initially coached the Senior Prep level 2 team from 2012-2014, I later acted as the conditioning coach in 2015. I took a break from coaching for a year and then spent a year as a parent while my 4 year participated on the tiny team. I came back as the Senior level 3 Assistant Coach in 2017-2018, and then began coaching the Youth Prep level 2.1 team in 2018-2019. I currently coach the Youth level 1 team and absolutely love it. I was previously AACCA credentialed for 8 years and USASF credentialed in levels 1, 2 and 3 in tumbling, stunts and tosses. I am currently CPR, First Aide and AED certified and have FBI and child abuse clearances.
MICHELLE JOHNSON
Coach
I cheered for 4 years at Brookville High School and was a member of their football, basketball and wrestling cheer squads as well as their varsity competition squad. I performed at the National High School Cheerleading Competition while a member of Brookville’s competitive team.
I was a state ranked college athlete in track and field while at Slippery Rock University and earned Academic All-American honors. Being a part of a college sport helped to develop my work ethic, internal motivation and competitive drive.
I coached high school cheer for 13 years. One year was spent coaching Brookville’s football and basketball squads and 12 years at Youngsville High School coaching their football, basketball and competitive cheer teams. I have spent the last 3 years coaching all-star cheer with the Extreme Program; working with their Tiny, Mini, Youth and Hip Hop teams. I am certified in First Aid and Safety, CPR and AED. I am also a certified member of the AACCA, a member of the USASF and am working on getting credentialed with USASF.
Besides coaching cheer I have also coached high school volleyball (5 years) and have coached track and field for the last 16 years. I have taken athletes and teams to various competitions at the local, district and state levels. Being a formal competitive athlete drives me to push my athletes to reach their fullest potential.
